Dolph Ziggler long wore out his good will even with the snarkiest corners of the WWE fanbase, but those that loved him at least had their fleeting faith rewarded with one of the most scintillating title victories in company history.

Cashing in on moribund Champion Alberto Del Rio the night after WrestleMania 29, Ziggler's music hitting as the titleholder nursed an ankle injury sent a red hot crowd into white hot hysterics. A story of two guttural roars, the sustained noise that greeted his entrance music somehow doubled when he snared the World Title. The audience clearly cared deeply for his success, and for one night their needs were serviced supremely.
