23. Diesel Vs Razor Ramon (SummerSlam 1994)

Leaning on their luxurious chemistry as well as the fabulously built feud between Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels that first supported it, Diesel's Intercontinental Title loss to 'The Bad Guy' was yet another outing for 'Big Daddy Cool' that had Vince McMahon focussing his main event crosshairs on the seven-footer.

Given bells and whistles when few were needed, Shawn and Diesel had won the Tag Team Titles at a house show the night before the pay-per-view, draping the pair of them in yet more gold before the Champion surrendered his secondary prize back to the Challenger. Ramon had Chicago Bears legend Walter Payton in his corner too - a bizarre pairing until 'HBK' again almost outworked the wrestlers in the ring from the outside - a relentless sh*thouse throughout, Michaels getting his comeuppance at the hands of 'Sweetness' after accidentally superkicking his partner in the face made him easy pickings.

The exhilarating finish brought the house down too - politickers they may have been, but The Kliq were often vindicated by their creative success stories. This was textbook stuff from the close-knit crew.
