21. Demolition Vs The Hart Foundation (SummerSlam 1990)

Bret Hart was every bit as good as his catchphrase suggested. Sometimes, he was even better.

A two-out-of-three falls tag title switch with Demolition allowed 'The Best There Is, Best There Was and Best There Ever Will Be" to flex his immense skill as both a babyface in peril and a future World Champion as soon as the industry caught up with pushing a performer of such remarkable aptitude.

Getting the sh*t kicked out of him by the insecure bullying champions as the used a one-man advantage to nearly cheat their way to victory, Hart's desperation drove Neidhart's comeback in order to ensure the contest went to a final fall. At this point, the Legion Of Doom's run-in exposed the ruse, freeing Bret from Smash and Crush's clutches just enough for the gutsy smaller member of the team to position himself behind the latter as 'The Anvil' launched himself in with a shoulder tackle.

The thunderous Philadelphia pop was unquestionably the biggest of Neidhart's career - only alongside Bret in 1997 would he hear something like that again.
