When the curtain came down on the amazing Alliance storyline in 2002, a whole clutch of stars arrived from WCW to try and take the WWE by storm. Chief amongst them was Booker T, who had a huge amount of success with WCW, and was under pretty big pressure to succeed with his new company. However, it is safe to say he achieved enough success with the WWE to place him on this list without much debate, and he managed to do it in a number of roles. Whether it was his King Booker gimmick that turned the crowd against him, or simply plain old Booker T that managed to entertain the crowd like few others at that time, Booker has to be regarded as an influential figure of the 21st century, largely due to his popularity with fans.
