Once again it feels as though the biggest talking point coming out of another fascinatingly odd week in Vince McMahon's barmy empire happened away from the increasingly inconsistent deluge of weekly on-air programming.

That's because, as you've likely been made aware of by now, the long-spanning saga that was the "What Will Kevin Owens Do Next?" situation finally reached its conclusion earlier this week. Instead of joining back up with some Young Bucks in Jacksonville, the former Universal Champion will be staying put in WWE, earning himself a well-earned pretty penny in the process. And it couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.

When it comes to said nutty on-screen developments this week, however, Owens wasn't quite as lucky as Bobby Lashley earned his way into the WWE title picture come Day 1.
