25 Reasons Why WWE Hell In A Cell 2019 Was An Absolute Mess

Hell In A Cell 2019's second bout of Alignment Bingo came when Bayley, who has been a heel for two months, worked babyface for much of her clash with Charlotte Flair.

'The Hugger' was on defence for much of the match. She was working from beneath as the bigger, more imposing wrestler controlled her, and was largely restricted to hope spots throughout. It was a classic face vs. heel layout, only the alignments were totally flipped. That isn't to say that Bayley should have ground the much bigger Flair down, but this isn't how heels wrestle, chief.

Bayley tried to cheat towards the end and bit the dust because of it. The referee caught her foot on the ropes, allowing Flair a way back into the bout by nailing the big boot and tapping her opponent out with the Fight Eight.

Perhaps WWE thought Bayley would be cheered as her Newark, CA hometown is just 40 miles from Sacramento, which was where HIAC was held. If so, they misread the room badly.
