25 Ways WWE Has Ruined Raw

3. Homogenised Presentation

Stagnation is a common theme throughout WWE. The company generally do a terrible job of changing with the times, which stems from the owner. Despite his obvious successes, Vince McMahon has been woefully out of touch with his audience for years, which impacts everything from individual wrestler pushes to his product's presentation.

Raw's aesthetics are but one of a number of things in dire need of a complete revamp. The company have made lots of small-to-medium cosmetic changes over the years (changing the set in 2016, for one), but for the most part, the look and feel of WWE's flagship shows haven't significantly changed since 1997. The stage/TitanTron blueprint is identical. Sure, the parts have been switched, but the basic layout certainly hasn't. In terms of production, Kevin Dunn's glossy, cut-heavy style became tedious a long time ago, yet the maligned executive retains his lofty hierarchical position.

Presentation is of key importance to any wrestling show. Viewing anything through a dusty old lens detracts from the experience, and while a cosmetic overhaul wouldn't revolutionise Raw, it'd certainly make it more palatable.
