17. Jeff Jarrett Asks Bobby Roode For "His" KOTM Title Back
Continuing to cement his status as one of TNA/GFW's top-line heels, Jeff Jarrett comes out to the ring and complains about the fact that Bobby Roode defeated PJ Black to win the King of the Mountain Championship. Jeff insists that the belt belongs to him, that he's still the King of the Mountain, and demands that Bobby Roode return it to him. The whole thing just seems kinda baseless and stupid, considering that Jeff was the one who vacated the KOTM title in the first place so it could be given to an active talent. Plus, the title being used outside of actual KOTM matches only diminishes any sense of value it actually has. Anyway, Roode of course refuses to give the title back and gets ready for a fight, before Karen interjects and tells the two to stop being so childish. Karen as the voice of reason? Madness...
