Is there another turn in The Big Red Machine's not too distant future? We all know how he sold his proverbial soul to The Authority, so to speak, so them having it there as some sort of trophy makes sense. But as we see it again and again, coupled with how confused his character has been in recent weeks, surely one more run round the block as The Devil's Favourite Demon is immanent... Dean Ambrose, who was also part of the segment backstage, made reference to Paul Bearer and The Undertaker while talking to Kane, maybe reminding everyone of what he used to be and sewing the seeds for a return to the mask? Maybe The Lunatic Fringe was channelling his inner Stone Cold Steve Austin by reminding us all what Kane used to be. Austin did a similar role back in 2003 in the weeks before the seven-footer's first unmasking. Only time will tell.
