Rather than give the fans an eighth match, Vince opted to fill 25 minutes of empty air while they waited for the sun to set for The Undertaker's entrance by sending Stephanie McMahon and Triple H out there to gloat about Sting's loss earlier in the night. It wasn't long, thankfully, before The Rock made his appearance, in what seemed to be a relatively off-the-cuff, drawn-out segment full of needless pauses where he teased a future match between himself and Trips.
