No WrestleMania show in recent memory has felt quite so padded and not needing its 4-hour run-time as this year's one. In addition to shifting two matches to the pre-show (with the Battle royal certainly being WrestleMania-worthy), there were only seven matches split between 4 hours, leading to a soul-drainingly slow pace, one which didn't really seem to earn the matches more time either, as not a single one ran longer than 19 minutes. The time-wasting was most obvious during the ridiculously long Rock-Trips-Steph-Ronda segment, and though it was a cool moment, it and a few other breaks could easily have been trimmed down to make this year's show 3.5 hours or less. If they have enough material to fill 4 hours then that runtime is usually fine, but this year things felt a little on the light side. What did you make of this year's WrestleMania? Shout it out in the comments!
