SummerSlam was weird, wasn't it? Heading into last weekend, a stacked 13-match card looked like being the strongest in the event's 29-year history. However, shoddy booking, and a vocal minority in the crowd - a minority I was very much a part of from my vantage point in Newcastle, England by the way - spoiled the event somewhat. This meant that this week's RAW and SmackDown Live had a lot of pieces to pick up...

RAW became just that bit more interesting in the hours before the show with two huge announcements. First of all, it was announced that Finn Balor would be relinquishing his newly won WWE Universal Championship after suffering a shoulder injury at the hands of Seth Rollins, right at the start of the pair's bout.

The other big announcement before the show surrounded The Dudley Boyz as it was announced the pair would be saying goodbye to WWE, despite reportedly signing new contracts recently. It has since been revealed that the pair are no longer contracted to the company which I sincerely hope is a massive swerve, just to make a Bully Ray main event heel run all the more surprising.

Here are all the WTF Moments from what turned out to be a hugely pivotal show after Sunday's nights... I don't want to say debacle because the action in the ring was great.... Sunday night's complicated mess!

24. They Both Count As WTF Moments!

I know I covered them in the intro to this article, but both Finn Balor's relinquishing of the WWE Universal Championship and the departure of The Dudley Boyz's are both WTF Moments.

Finn's part of the deal is because he still managed to finish his stellar match with Seth Rollins after reportedly popping his shoulder back into place, the gnarly dude! While you have to say his relinquishing of the title is a WTF Moment because of Brock Lesnar.

The Beast was gone for an eternity during his most recently reign as world champion yet was allowed to keep hold of the belt. I know he wasn't injured which meant WWE could still presumably call him if and when they needed him, but the fact is they didn't. Brock was still missing from our screens just like Finn, and Seth Rollins before him, is going to be.

As for The Dudleys, it's just so sudden, isn't it? I know it feels like they've been gone from WWE for a long old time thanks to the way they've been booked but it's still sad to see them go.

I hope the reports of neither Bubba Ray nor D-Von being contracted to the company are a work, just to make the start of a Bully Ray main event level heel run all the more spectacularly surprising!
