If you've not watched GFW before, there's a good chance you won't recognise Lei'd Tapa, even though she did have sporadic TNA appearances in 2013 and 2014. During the match, Pope says to Josh, "Look at the boots: do they remind you of anyone?" Matthews replies, "They remind me of a legendary professional wrestler", and Pope follows up, "Absolutely, the Barbarian, daddy. That's the bloodline that Lei'd Tapa comes from." The legendary wrestler The Barbarian is in fact Tapa's uncle and helped train her, which makes it all the more surprising that she was previously released from TNA for her lack of experience in the ring.
