Just before the main event begins, Jeff Hardy gets on the mic and says that he believes enough in his brother to leave the ring area, and asks Tyrus if he believes enough in his boss to "hit the bricks". Tyrus thinks for a moment, grabs the mic, says "Cool", and leaves, much to EC3's surprise and disgust. It's a good booking decision for several reasons: it denies the match an overly dirty finish, and further hints at Tyrus and EC3 breaking up sometime down the line, what with Tyrus still having his guaranteed World Title shot in the bank.
