The match comes to an end when EC3 nails the One-Percenter from the top rope, winning back the TNA World Title...and pretty much making the last 3 months since Bound for Glory seem totally pointless, putting us back in the exact same position we were beforehand. Still, it was a great choice to have EC3 win the title cleanly without any whiff of cheating, meaning he can move on from the whole Hardy feud and hopefully start a program with Drew Galloway, where he might finally get pinned for the first time.
