Further evidence that Extreme Rules was a show cobbled together without much thought or preparation is the fact that the chain used during the Russian Chain match was just far too long, meaning that John Cena and Rusev had to frequently try and disguise the fact that either of the wrestlers could easily just walk around the ring and touch all four turnbuckles with absolute ease. Did nobody even check the length of the chain before the show started? Is this the best they could come up with? When the match could easily have ended in mere seconds due to the long chain, it completely sucks the tension out of what at its best can be an awesome, brutal match type.
