28 WTF Moments From WWE Raw (16 Nov)

The druids turn on Undertaker, Neville breaks several laws of physics, and Paige says the most offensive thing ever.

As many predicted, this week's Raw was fantastic from an in-ring point of view. All four quarter-final matches impressed (to a degree), with Reigns vs. Cesaro and Neville vs. Owens stealing the show. However, as engrossing as the actual wrestling may have been, it didn't save the show from a general atmosphere of strangeness. Raw's non-wrestling segments were weird, nonsensical, hastily-written, and - at one particular stage - incredibly offensive. It just goes to show that, as much as we demand it, good wrestling doesn't necessarily equate to a good show. This week's edition swung wildly from good to bad with every passing segment, and ended on an incredibly sour note. On the bright side, this combination of compelling in-ring action and bizarre promo segments made for a hell of a lot of WTF moments - so let's dig in.

28. The Druids Are Back!

Although advertised for the show, the fact that the Brothers of Destruction actually opened Raw was a surprise. Technically, neither Undertaker nor Kane jerked this week's curtain; that honour instead went to Taker's squad of mysterious druids, making a rare appearance on free TV. Usually they're reserved for PPVs, and even then only crop up on special occasions such as 'Mania. Some of you might remember Dean Ambrose's early turn as a druids at the 2006 Royal Rumble. I wonder if he reprised that role on Raw. Probably not.
