Independent star Rex Bacchus, known primarily for his work with Team Vision Dojo, sadly lost his battle with cancer this January. He was just 35 years old.

Bacchus, born Chris Sims in Sebastian, FL, began training with the Dojo at the start of 2015, quickly picking up the ropes and going on to compete in over 200 matches for the company.

Although he had been fighting cancer for some time, the illness did not curtail his passion and enthusiasm for the industry. Just two months prior to his untimely death, he hit a career highlight with an appearance on MLW Fusion.

Rex's final match came at a charity benefit, during which he symbolically beat 'Cancer' in a main event 'Death Match'.

Team Vision Dojo confirmed that, although Bacchus lost his final fight, he passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
