1. The Undertaker Retires

And finally, though most fans knew it was coming, that did little to stifle the unforgettable impact of The Undertaker not only losing to Roman Reigns, but seemingly bringing his career to an end.

Post-match, Taker left his gloves, jacket and hat on the ring mat, then broke character by kissing his wife Michelle McCool outside the ring, and finally, had a Terminator 2-inspired exit, as he descended into the bowels of the building with his fist raised in the air, before three tolls rang out in darkness.

Disappointing though Taker's last match was, it's hard to fault the riveting theatrical quality of his farewell, which is sure to be remembered by wrestling fans for decades.
