Three days removed from competing with a torn pectoral muscle at WWE Hell In A Cell 2022, Cody Rhodes has shown off what he reckons will be his last injury picture for a while.

Rollins, who defeated Seth Rollins at the 5 June premium live event despite sporting severe bruising across his toro's right-hand side, put the image on his Instagram story earlier today.

The WWE on BT Sport Twitter account has since reposted it - and Cody's body doesn't look much prettier than it did at Hell In A Cell:-

Cody's day-by-day pictures currently on his Instagram story document how the bruising has evolved since he suffered the injury. Three days after HIAC, where half of his body was mostly purple, Rhodes at least appears to be losing a little colour.

As confirmed following Hell In A Cell, Cody is due to undergo surgery on Thursday. His injury's severity will ultimately determine how long he has to spend away from WWE, having only returned to the promotion in April, though the latest estimate is six months.

WWE wrote Rhodes off television via an assault from Rollins on Monday's Raw.
