3 Titles Change Hands At NWA Alwayz Ready

And NEW...

NWA Alwayz Ready Trevor Murdoch
NWA

With NWA Alwayz Ready taking place last night, your new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion is Trevor Murdoch.

Going into Alwayz Ready, the advertised main event was Matt Cardona defending the NWA Title against Nick Aldis. Of course, Cardona suffered an arm injury a couple of weeks ago that put plentiful question marks over said main event.

That arm injury for Cardona has been confirmed to be a torn biceps, which means the one-time WWE Intercontinental Champion will be on the sidelines for several months. As a result, the Long Island native was forced to relinquish that NWA Worlds Title - which he beat Trevor Murdoch for at Powerrr Trip back in February - with an impromptu four-way bout seeing Murdoch, Aldis, Thom Latimer, and Sam Shaw, aka the former Dexter Lumis.

Commencing his second reign as the NWA Words Heavyweight Champion, Murdoch picked up the win after hitting a top rope bulldog on Nick Aldis for the 1-2-3. Prior to that, Trevor had defeated Aron Stevens earlier in the night in what was billed as Stevens' last ever match.

Elsewhere at Alwayz Ready, new World Women's Tag Team Champions and new NWA Tag Team Champions were crowned, whilst several other titles were successfully defended.
