10. Hulking Jobbers Run Wild

Nothing will build up a tag team better than having them job in less than 10 minutes to a rollup, then have them beat everyone up because they’re sore losers.

Welcome to WWE logic, where having Mace & T-Bar lose to an already-exhausted New Day and then snap is probably viewed as a positive development. There’s just no good sense to that, as Mace & T-Bar looked like goofs losing their only part of tag team turmoil to a team that had already faced three other opponents. But then they got their heat back (allegedly) by laying out New Day and Mansoor & Mustafa Ali.

Just to clarify, the former RETRIBUTION members have been little more than oversized jobbers in recent months, just undercard goofs, and this didn’t make them look more credible or competent. All it did was make Ali & Mansoor look like idiots who got laid out like jobbers themselves.

Now, if they wanted to make this work, they could have had Mace & T-Bar topple Lucha House Party and Jinder Mahal & Veer before losing to New Day via rollup. At least then, they would have looked strong before losing, and it would have resonated more.
