3 Ups & 11 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 18)

1. McIntyre To Return

Let’s state this upfront: When one of the very few positive things you have to highlight about Raw is an announcement that Drew McIntyre will be on next week’s Raw, you have a really bad episode.

But yet, we have to be excited that the WWE Champion will apparently be cleared to return to TV next week after being diagnosed with COVID and missing two episodes in person. And not having your world champion in the arena for two weeks in the buildup to the second-biggest PPV of the year is a pretty bad blow. It also doesn’t help that McIntyre is a pretty consistent performer, and the last couple of shows have been pretty deficient.

Here’s hoping Drew can help level the ship, because Raw has been on a nosedive recently, even more so than usual.
