3 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 31)

No issues with Taya Valkyrie picking up another win, then furthering her story vs. Jade Cargill ahead of Battle Of The Belts VI (which some might've forgot was even happening on 7 April). That match hasn't been locked in for the show, but it'd be a fine choice to headline if AEW felt so inclined.

Sure, the legal story that sees Jade trying to stop Taya from using a finishing move she actually used first is goofy, but at least Cargill has a story right now instead of winning endless squashes. Everything here was well-worked, although Marina Shafir is definitely still very clunky in-ring.

Match aside, seeing Valkyrie stand up to Jade, Mark Sterling and an apparent legal representative (played by occasional AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation worker Tootie Lynn) was exactly what it needed to be. Hopefully, these two have some chemistry when it counts.
