3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (Mar 10)

2. Jurassic Express Triumph

While perhaps lacking the extra zest we've come to expect from Jurassic Express bouts, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus vs. Peter Avalon and Kip Sabian was a fine way to start last night's Dark and, indeed, the best match on the show.

Jurassic Express interrupting 'The Librarians'' shhhhh! shtick is an instant Up. We got some fun stuff early on with the heels reacting to the colossal Luchasaurus, with Sabian getting cocky and paying for it and Avalon begging off. It was a basic heat spot soon after, with the heels working away on Jungle Boy and Avalon leaning heavily on his act, before Luchasaurus once again ran wild. He single-handedly smashed the heels with his impressive-looking moveset late on before a series of Jurassic Express double-teams ended with Jungle Boy getting the pin on Avalon, wrapping this up nicely.

A fun little bout with little to criticise, this was all it needed to be and yielded the right winners. Avalon is good at getting his *ss kicked.
