3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 9)

Downs...

4. Not Needed

Big Bill Lee Moriarty
AEW

Big Bill and Lee Moriarty vs. Clayton Bloodstone and Izzy James was a two-minute squash this episode just didn't need. It wasn't even a good squash either, to be honest. Bloodstone and James did their best to impress, but this was a nothing segment that hoovered up time without offering anything in return.

The Firm still sucks. Sorry, but it's true.

Stokely Hathaway's gang is one of the most useless factions in all of pro wrestling, and that's saying something when The Trustbusters are running around the place. Also, what was up with Excalibur blurting out that Moriarty doesn't need Bill too? That was an own goal from the play-by-play man.

Even JR was like, '...eh?'. AEW went to the trouble of repackaging W. Morrissey, then had their lead broadcaster question why he was even out there at all. Wow, that'll get Bill/The Firm over and make fans want to watch his/their stuff.
