3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 25)

Ups...

3. Fuego Del Sol’s Fire

Real positives were few and far between on this week's Rampage.

Fuego Del Sol certainly didn't seem like an obvious pick for the first 'Up', and yet here he is. The masked man cut a better promo than anyone could've expected from him. Even the live crowd, who could've been apathetic considering his standing on the card, bought into Del Sol's fire.

It was typical underdog fare, but there's nothing especially wrong with that when the delivery is on point. Fuego can be proud of how well he came across here, and nobody can claim the man doesn't know how to take a killer kicking from heels. Seeing him fly around for House Of Black feels right.

Side note: Tony Khan should give a singles bout between Del Sol and Buddy Matthews some thought. That one-on-one encounter sounds like a lot more fun than the six-man (also involving Dark Order) that AEW are setting up.
