4. Tough Spot For These Women

Bayley and Shotzi were in a rough spot on Friday night.

There's no steam behind Shotzi as a babyface, and the live crowd were more interested in singing that song (you know the one: "Heeeeeey, hey Bayley!") than the actual match itself. This one existed to put across IYO SKY's remaining loyalty to the Damage CTRL cause, but it ended too suddenly to really have weight.

People's interest has dwindled in IYO potentially splitting from Bayley too, probably because WWE has kicked that plot point down the road a few times already. On top of all that, the match also had an unappealing stipulation. Shotzi replacing Bayley at MITB was hardly something fans wanted to see.

Hopefully, now she's had a little trim from Bayley in a post-match segment backstage, Shotzi can move onto something fresher. Her character has lacked any and all development since jumping up to the main roster, which is hardly great.
