3 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (June 6)

1. Breezango Are Still SmackDown's MVPs

As has been the case for several weeks now, Tyler Breeze & Fandango’s Fashion Files was the best thing on the show. The duo are the only consistently fun act on SmackDown at the moment, and while the rest of the show drowns in WWE’s traditional summer slump, Breezango always bring the goods, and pull the show away from tedious mediocrity, if only for a few minutes.

If you enjoy their act, you’ll have enjoyed last night’s segment. As usual, there were plenty of easter eggs on the noticeboard, with Michael Hayes marked as a “repeat offender,” and Raw’s Enzo Amore “out of our jurisdiction.” The New Day showed-up halfway through, gifting Breeze a new romper in exchange for intel on The Usos, before leaving with boxes full of evidence.

The jokes were on-point, but as is always the case, the segment was carried by Breezango’s colourful personalities. Even if they never become Tag Team Champions, skits like this will help the duo stay over with the crowd, and keep them relevant in the division. Their current act is a rare example of WWE comedy done correctly, and it has made them one of the brand’s biggest bright spots.
