3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Hall Of Fame 2019

3. G1 Superclash

Given how utterly, utterly sumptuous Friday's NXT TakeOver: New York was, we think it's safe to say WWE eventually made the correct decision chopping and changing their schedule to ensure their finest pay-per-view in well, possibly ever, didn't have to go up against the NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard.

Luckily, we weren't forced to make a choice between Gargano and Adam Cole's star-shattering main event in Brooklyn or Jay White taking on Kazuchika Okada over in MSG. What it did mean was that anyone who did elect - or, in some cases, were, ahem, assigned - to watch WWE's ceremony ahead of the historic festivities happening in mid-town Manhattan would have the 'privilege' of listening to Stevie Rey instead of say, watching Naito and Ibushi tear it up across town.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
