3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Hall Of Fame 2024 (Results & Review)

Heyman is only true bright spot in an otherwise long, skippable event.

Not to put too fine of a point on this, but WWE’s Hall of Fame induction ceremonies are going to need an overhaul for next year and beyond.

The latest edition Friday night revealed a lengthy, dragging three-hour event that puttered to a conclusion in a half-lit arena that only included die-hard fans, wrapping up at nearly 1 a.m. local time with a half-hearted promo from The Rock calling out Cody Rhodes one last time rather than focusing on inducting his grandmother into the Hall of Fame.

The night started out strong with Paul Heyman thoroughly entertaining fans and wrestlers alike with his half-hour acceptance speech, and then it was all downhill from there. Fans fled the Wells Fargo Center after the Wise Man finished his remarks, and there were no truly great moments afterward, just a heartwarming one with the U.S. Express.

However, there were bad and/or rambling speeches from inductors and inductees alike and a Hulk Hogan appearance that couldn’t be ignored.

All told, if anyone is reading this and wondering whether it’s worth seeking out the 2024 Hall of Fame ceremony, the answer is “yes… but turn it off after Heyman wraps his speech.”

Let’s get to it…
