Nooooooooooo.

Pre-SmackDown, yours truly had a random worry that WWE would cast Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks as chums to kill time before their WrestleMania feud. He didn't think that'd actually come true, but it did - Banks and Belair acted like they've been BFFs forever when winding up Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

This is totally heading towards a Women's Tag Title match, isn't it? This fan isn't here for it, because it doesn't really make sense. Why would Banks, who had been such a cold-hearted bitch for most of 2020, suddenly buddy up with the Royal Rumble winner when she has a huge target on her back (the SmackDown Women's Title)?

WWE's booking felt uninspired here. If they're going to program Bianca with Sasha, then they don't need to become friends first. That's unnecessary, and it won't enhance their rivalry at all. In fairness, this could be a sign that Belair will go after Asuka over on Raw instead.
