3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 27)

2. Worst 'KO Show' Ever

It seemed impossible to yours truly that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn could share the ring and it'd stink, but then this week's SmackDown aired. The 'KO Show' skit both worked was as lame as it gets. It achieved the grand sum of nothing and was yet another worrying sign for Owens post-WrestleMania.

Attention, WWE: KO vs. Ezekiel and this guff doesn't cut it after facing Steve Austin in the main event of 'Mania 38's opening night. That should've been a springboard back to the top of the cards for Kev, but he's floundering around trading crap banter with an on/off mate like nothing happened.

No, this was not great.

Owens calling Sami out for trying to become part of The Bloodline was then immediately rubbished by The Usos sort of/kinda/almost accepting Zayn as an honorary member. Yet again, one has to question where any of this is heading? Are they trying to turn Sami into a sympathetic babyface?
