3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown: Merry Christmas (Dec 23)

4. All Rather Pointless

The Usos Hit Row

Here's a recap: Hit Row returned to modest fanfare in the summer and stumbled around the place before eventually winning a three-way to become number one contenders for The Usos last week. Then, they end up losing a fairly tame, predictable title bout to Jimmy and Jey that just sort of happened.

Where do they go from here? Who knows? WWE don't seem to have a clue what to do with the group, and this second attempt has been every bit as tepid as their last. Creative must be questioned on the way they prep teams for a crack at The Usos too - they're clearly dominant champs, so any challengers need serious sizzle going in.

Top Dolla' and Ashante Adonis had none.

Adonis is clearly the more workable of the team though. He looked decent when trading blows with Jimmy and Jey. Dolla' tried his best, but there's nothing really there, and B-FAB offered a grand sum of sod all from ringside.

Back to the drawing board.
