3. What A Tidy Little Match

Onto some positives, and there were a few bright spots.

Rey Mysterio vs. Angel was great for what it was. Los Lotharios deserve better than they get on this roster generally (especially Angel), so it was nice to see them on TV. Also, Rey did give Garza enough to do that the bout wasn't a rudimentary squash. Nice work all round, fellas.

Having Karrion Kross and Scarlett staring over the scene like vultures was another neat touch for the segment; that continued their story with Mysterio, and the fact they stood ominously in the stands without getting involved was more than enough for now. There are beatdowns, matches and more to come from this in the new year.

Yeah, this fan enjoyed everything he saw here. Rey picked up a tidy win, Angel showed Triple H why he deserves more time in front of the cameras, and Kross smiled maniacally like some muscled-up Cheshire Cat with bad intentions.
