3 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 2)

Ups...

3. Shake On It

The Acclaimed FTR
AEW

Onto the good stuff, but there ain't a lot of it.

The Acclaimed were one of the rare bright sparks on this week's episode of Rampage. They're over with fans, and so AEW should ride that train until the wheels fall off. In a smart move, Tony Khan has also decided that scissoring jokes won't be enough - he wants to give the team top challengers too.

Enter FTR and enter fan interest. The Gunn Club mouthed off, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal (via Sonjay Dutt) said their piece, but everyone in that building was waiting for Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler to show up. They did, and the pair shook hands with The Acclaimed to all-but-sign-ink on an upcoming AEW Tag Title bout.

Fingers crossed the company keeps things simple by ensuring the ROH, IWGP and AAA belts are kept out of the way. A match like this deserves focus, and so does the young dominance of Anthony Bowens and Max Caster on top of the doubles division.
