3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0 (Nov 2)

Ups...

3. Straight To The Point

Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker, one minor botch aside, grabbed his chance to impress against Tommaso Ciampa at Halloween Havoc. To his credit, Rick Steiner's kid never looked out of place against a seasoned veteran, and that should please WWE chiefs who hope he'll be a star for years to come.

On Tuesday, Bron battered Andre Chase (in one of the show's many, many squashes) and then cut a fine promo about gunning for the NXT Title again someday. This re-emphasised that Breakker should be considered an upper-card threat for good, but crucially avoided setting up a senseless automatic rematch for the belt.

Letting Bron breathe and settle in some more is a good plan.

WWE took to the powerhouse straight away, and rightfully so. Breakker has serious potential to be a breakout success story on NXT 2.0 - rushing him into the championship hot seat, or beating fans over the head with endless title shots, was not the way to go. It'll be intriguing to see where he goes from here.
