3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 21)
2. Dom Knows His Role
Once again, hats off to Dominik Mysterio for playing his role perfectly.
The man with the most punchable face once again did his shtick during the Judgment Day/Brawling Brutes six-man tag match, tagging in when his team was in control to get a couple cheap shots and celebrating like he was Kurt Angle winning a gold medal. When the fans booed and chanted, “Who’s your daddy?”, he did his Eddie Guerrero impersonation while Rhea Ripley simply gestured at herself.
But when it came time for both teams to get hot tags, it was Dominik suddenly facing off with Sheamus and look like he soiled himself. Mysterio took a sh*t-kicking, eating a Brogue and taking the pin, which works just fine as the group’s true weak link.
At some point, you have to wonder if they’ll reveal the reason the Judgment Day lets Dom hang with them – or at least be their third in six-man matches – because with Rey Mysterio on SmackDown, there isn’t a ton of value added in reality.
But there’s a ton of entertainment value added with Dominik.
