3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (7 Feb)

Bringing it via satellite.

That planted Roman Reigns fan got the contents of his WWE sip cup poured all over him before his hero, the 'Big Dog', scared 'King' Corbin off.

If that sentence doesn't sum up this week's SmackDown, nothing will. The blue brand's positive momentum was stalled by one of the most useless, skippable and all-round basic episodes in recent memory. Where did all that fine wrestling go? Why has all that Royal Rumble goodness evaporated right in time for the next trip to Saudi? Why are feuds that should've ended still raging on?

Those are questions that need answers, but they don't seem to be forthcoming. San Jose didn't get the same treatment as other cities have recently – they got dumped here, and they deserve a medal for keeping spirits up by the end.

OK, so not every single episode of WWE television is going to be a winner, and it's not like SmackDown didn't offer at least some entertainment, but this was seriously uninspired stuff compared to last week's newsworthy fun.

Here are all the 'Ups' and 'Downs' from a show that, in WWE's world, was a placeholder and nothing more...
