Downs...

7. The Revival's Totally Pointless Tag Title Reign

54 days and not even one pay-per-view title defence.

That sums up The Revival's latest stab at convincing WWE they're one of the best tag-teams out there. They know it, the fans know it, and their peers know it, but management continue to have blinkers on when it comes to 'No Flips Just Fists'. It's maddening that they've been swept aside again.

If WWE knew they were going to take the SmackDown Tag belts off Dash and Dawson, they should've given them that gimmicky World Cup at Crown Jewel. They'd then have something to crow about, at least, rather than becoming just another rudderless team struggling for TV time weeks later.

It's not that New Day holding gold is bad per se, it's that The Revival deserved better than to be involved in a championship merry-go-round all 'cause WWE need another babyface tag in that pointless Survivor Series three way. Big thumbs down.
