3 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 29)

4. Something New? Nah!

Meanwhile, The Usos are feuding with New Day for the millionth time.

It's rather cheap of WWE to boldly proclaim that this is a "new era" for Raw and SmackDown then book the same sh*t they've been booking for years. Practically the entire blue brand tag division continued their issues when they moved to Raw (that's not "new"), and now Friday nights have a reprise too.

Matches between these two teams will always be fun, sure, but come on - going back to Usos vs. New Day is so lazy. That's especially true when King Woods just won the crown over in Saudi Arabia and should thus have a singles program to sink his teeth into. He really deserves that.

Would it have killed SmackDown's writing staff to put Hit Row in this spot, or maybe even another team? Therein lies the problem: SmackDown doesn't actually have roster depth when it comes to tags. Most of them were moved to Raw, so you'll eat another portion of New Day and like it.
