3. A Reminder Of What Can Be

After shredding the Sheamus/John Morrison fiasco, let’s give a bit of credit to what really served as a reminder that there really are really good wrestlers in WWE.

Sheamus and Morrison had a mostly grounded match, countering each other and pounding away before JoMo zeroed in on the Celtic Warrior’s knee, leading to a nice back-and-forth between a targeted attack and brute strength. In the end, Sheamus’ brute strength won out.

But this little match reminded us just how effortless Morrison makes good wrestling look, and how skilled Sheamus is at adapting to different wrestlers. It really is a shame Morrison is stuck serving as Miz’s toady, and Sheamus is just kind of floating around with minimal direction.

If only someone out there could book a real wrestling show…
