3 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 21)

Downs...

8. This Is The Feud That Never Ends

Ricochet Retribution

2020 has been an awful year for many reasons, but on Raw, 2020 has been the year of the never-ending feuds, which is a different kind of awful.

And poor Ricochet feels like he’s been in half of these never-ending battles, including the latest deal with RETRIBUTION. You see, Mustafa Ali used to be running buddies with Ricochet, and he wants him to join his ranks, so of course that means endless battles against each member of RETRIBUTION. So we get Ricochet versus Slapjack, versus Mace, and now versus T-Bar.

None of the matches have been any good, none of them have accomplished anything. It would be one thing if we cared about Ricochet at all, but WWE has long since taught us to not care about him as a character, so it’s all meaningless. Throw in that RETRIBUTION is a horrible faction that is beyond pathetic and you have a perfect recipe for apathy.

But hey, that’s never stopped WWE from doing the same thing over and over and over.
