The Rated-R Superstar enjoyed great success both as a tag team wrestler and as a singles star, making his mark at WrestleManias 2000 and X-Seven, winning the WWF Tag Team Championships at both with Christian in triangle matches (a ladder match at 2000 and of course TLC at X-Seven).

Edge’s first real singles success came at WrestleMania XXI when he won the first Money in the Bank ladder match, a victory that would drastically alter his career. He would defeat Mick Foley in a hardcore match at Mania XXII, which ended with the awesome visual of Edge spearing Foley off the apron and through a flaming table.

Edge’s last four WrestleMania matches all were world title matches, as he lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Undertaker (XXIV), lost the WWE Championship to John Cena (XXV), lost a WHC match to Chris Jericho (XXVI) and retained his WHC against Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania XXVII, which would be his last match.
