30 Great WWE Superstars And Their Strange Rookie Finishers

12. Yokozuna

The Banzai Drop brought Yokozuna most of his WWE victories, and why not? If you weigh five hundred pounds and three hundred of those are your butt, it makes perfect sense to weaponize it. Even better, all of that weight came right down on the opponent€™s torso, his shoulders pinned to the mat by Yoko€™s prodigious taint. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OT5OjA4HZj8 But Yokozuna didn't appear, fully formed, in a WWE ring, pretending to be Japanese. He first came to national prominence in the old AWA as Kokina Maximus, Prince of Hawaii. Despite the nickname, his finisher of choice during this period was his family€™s Samoan drop. Not very visually arresting, but neither was baby Yoko. He was significantly slimmer in those days, closer to Rikishi size than his legendary WWE bulk.
