30 Great WWE Superstars And Their Strange Rookie Finishers

24. Roman Reigns

Few figures in modern wrestling are as controversial as Roman Reigns. You'll have no trouble finding ardent supporters or harsh critics of everything from his promos to his ring gear, but everyone can agree on at least one thing: Roman can throw a very pretty spear. It carries the same impact it did in his gridiron days, and he always hits it clean, unlike Batista and Big Show€™s laughable attempts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTnf-d3MJGo Back in FCW, however, as Polynesian beefcake Leakee, his weapon of choice was a spinning bulldog known as the Checkmate. He later switched to a back suplex side slam called the Moment of Silence. Fans may love the spear, but a sizable number still find themselves wishing for a moment of silence, especially when Roman picks up the microphone.
