30 Greatest EVER WWE Survivor Series Moments

11. Out Of Gas (1995)

Diesel's 1995 WWE Championship reign will forever be debated due to the rock bottom box office returns, but its culmination in the main event of the year's superlative Survivor Series was creative payoff for the ages in spite of the company's commercial oblivion.

His pulsating match with Bret Hart paid glorious attention to the two title matches they'd had over the prior 18 months, flipping the heel/babyface script until a jaw-dropping closing moment in which 'Big Daddy Cool' sent 'The Hitman' careering through the previously-untarnished announce table.

Bret was instantly a stone dead figure of sympathy - the emotion required to ensure Diesel's post-match turn on the brand new Champion hit exactly the right notes.
