30 Most Inconsequential WWE Titleholders Of All Time
27. The Mountie - Intercontinental Champion - 2 Days (1992)
Much like the Dean Douglas scenario, The Mountie was given a championship from his original opponent (although The Mountie actually won the belt in a match), and thrown into another match on short notice against a different competitor, where he would end up losing the belt. Playing the role of Razor Ramon in this scenario was Roddy Piper, who beat The Mountie at the Royal Rumble for the belt, ending his reign at two days. The Mountie would go on to have better success as one half of The Quebecers, where he became a multi-time tag team champion. His singles career, however, never recovered from this quick title loss.
