Tajiri ended the United States Championship reign of Kanyon on an episode of Raw in September 2001. Tajiri would go on to have more success as a member of the Cruiserweight Division, and did end up winning the Tag Team Championship as well. His foray as United States Champion, however, was the definition of unmemorable.
