I am sure WWE€'s brain trust thought they were hilarious with their running gag of including all three of the 2012 event€'s commentators in the Royal Rumble match-up, but few watching in the building or at home found the joke funny. Nobody wanted to see Michael Cole in the ring, especially as it meant he took one of the €surprise spots€ that fans look forward to so much. Who would it be, a star from the past? Someone new? A returning legend? An injured superstar coming back to the ring? Oh, no, it is just Michael Cole. Break out the champagne.
